Leadership, Structure, and Strategic Execution
ARC continues to build momentum across every area of the business. With that growth comes the need for strong leadership, alignment, and disciplined execution.
That is why we are excited to welcome Colonel Paul Howerton as ARC’s new Chief of Staff.
Paul brings decades of leadership experience, operational discipline, and strategic coordination from his distinguished military career. His role focuses on connecting teams, aligning priorities, and ensuring execution across a rapidly growing organization.
A Leadership Fit Built on Alignment
Paul’s decision to join ARC was grounded in leadership alignment and shared values.
“There are two primary things that led me to this position. The first was Justin Osburn, his leadership style, and our friendship. During the interview process that lasted about a year, we developed a friendship that continues today. I think we have very complimentary leadership styles that support one another.”
That alignment extends directly into culture.
“The second thing that attracted me to ARC was the company culture. Our core values align directly, and that was incredibly important to me.”
This combination of leadership trust and cultural fit positions ARC to scale without losing its identity.
Built for Growth, Designed for Scale
ARC is not just growing. It is evolving.
With that growth comes increased complexity across teams and systems. Paul’s role is centered on bringing structure and synchronization to that expansion.
“ARC is a growing company, which is an incredibly exciting thing. As a growing company, we are experiencing the challenges of a staff that is also growing in size, scope, and responsibility.”
“All of the knowledge that was once held by a few is now shared by many. Our systems are also growing in complexity. So I get to come on board and work to support the coordination, synchronization, and execution of this staff.”
“It’s what I’ve done for years in the Army and I’m excited to bring my experience to work for ARC.”
His role ensures that growth creates alignment and momentum, not friction.
A Leadership Style Built on Accountability
Paul describes his approach simply:
“I like to say that I run a loose ship with high expectations.”
That philosophy balances empowerment with accountability.
“I like a workplace where people are encouraged to communicate openly, use their talents to develop solutions to complex challenges, and have fun while doing it.”
At the same time, expectations remain clear.
“It’s my job to connect the staff, ensure we are all rowing the boat in the same direction, we are synchronized in our actions, and everyone understands the priorities.”
“This also requires accountability. It’s my job to hold everyone to the ARC Standard as a Premium Brand so we are delivering the best for our customers.”
This reinforces what ARC is building: a high-performance organization with clarity, alignment, and execution.
Defining Success in the First Year
Paul’s definition of success is aligned with ARC’s trajectory:
“Success to me is ARC being on an exponential growth curve as we are delivering exceptional results to our clients.”
He also emphasizes the role of systems:
“We have the best systems providing real-time data for leadership to make timely decisions and to provide the best services available to our customers.”
This reflects ARC’s focus on data-driven execution and operational clarity.
Positioned for What’s Next
Paul’s perspective on ARC’s future is clear:
“I’m excited because ARC is on the precipice of tremendous growth. It’s exciting to be on the front line of this effort.”
ARC is entering its next phase, and Paul’s role ensures that growth is structured, aligned, and scalable.
